The eighth Sookie Stackhouse novel.  I read this way out of order.

Reading through it, I felt very much like I was reading Laurell K. Hamilton.  Sookie Stackhouse may be a telepath instead of a necromancer, but the person sure felt the same.  It would probably have been better if I'd started from the beginning, but despite coming into the middle of the series, it was a reasonable way to spend a few hours.
