The Golden Queen #2
Basically, Orick, the talking bear, gets a girlfriend. Other than that, I didn't see a lot of point
to the story. Maybe the third book will
tie it together, but I came out of this book tired of the characters and the
setting, and not at all excited about book three. It was disappointing coming after The Golden Queen - there’s obviously
story yet to tell, but this book pretty much skirted around the edges of that
story and gave us a whole pile of filler.
