The Aquitane Progression - Robert Ludlum

Random House, 1984, 647 pages.
ISBN: 0-394-53674-6
Read:  April 2015, age 37

I didn't like this book.  The payoff was weak, and the main character had no agency - escaping and getting re-caught repeatedly until he somehow managed to get enough information (basically the same as he had at the start) to fail at his job.  And he made up with his ex-wife.  It wasn't poorly-written, just a lame plot, and was a slog to get through.
