Random House, 2006 - Abridged Audiobook (6 Hours)
Listened to: February 2016, age 37
I really enjoyed the book, and the audiobook was almost as good. I read the dead-tree version about when it came out (06? 07?), and didn't remember it overly well. The abridgment seemed seamless, and I didn't miss the missing portions, though the book seemed short.
Many of the readers were good, some were just ok. One was fantastic... and when the end credits rolled, that was Mark Hamill. Ok, then. That makes sense. I certainly could have listened to more, so I'd suggest that you find an unabridged recording.
