Trevayne - Robert Ludlum

Bantam, 1989, originally published 1973, 469 pages
ISBN 0-553-28179-8
Read November 2017, age 38

A story about how corrupt the US actually is (or could be) at the highest levels, and how good people can be compromised.  It was interesting, in a way, but I didn't find it overly enthralling.  When my 5 year old ripped the cover to pieces in order to get back at his babysitter (gotta love children's logic...) I wasn't actually disappointed.  I'm not keeping the book.

I think Robert Ludlum has used up the goodwill that he got from the Bourne books.  The last several have been poor.  I doubt I'll pick up any more.
