I'm not convinced that I'm smart enough for this book. The prose was nice, the setting was fun, and the conceit of an alternate history where the Nazis won WWII, with a book in the setting that is an alternate history where they didn't (and isn't our world) was really interesting. I didn't even mind the characters, but I spent the whole book wondering what was going on. Where was the story? That lasted right through to the end of the book, after I closed it.
