Ready Player One - Ernest Cline (Audiobook)

Ready Player One | [Ernest Cline]

I quite enjoyed this book, though it seemed like the author basically said "I've got this very specific set of useless knowledge.  How can I make this save the world?"   (relevant XKCD)  Light, and fun.

I got really tired of hearing the word "eighties". There must have been a better, more efficient way to talk about the decade.  I likely wouldn't have minded as much in print, as you can just gloss over things like that.  Reading the scoreboard was the same.   Looks good in print, I'm sure.  Clumsy when read out  loud.
