This plot felt done before. Kids find a treasure map, try to find the treasure before the bad adults. Goonies. And others. Tack on a grail quest.... groan. But then a look at the copyright date, and... well, ok. The others owe this book, it seems. Anyway, I found the book just 'all right'. Admittedly, I am far from the target demographic, but... it was kind of dry, and maybe I'm just tired of a pack of kids as main characters, but I had trouble getting invested in the story. We'll see what the rest of the series has in store.
