This was a horrible, horrible book. The plotting sucks, the main character is a terrible Mary Sue, the fantasy world is extremely derivative, and I'm completely invested in the characters and the story. An extremely guilty pleasure.
Seriously, it's bad. The characters literally go grinding mobs for hours of the story. And we get descriptions of every bloody meal, even when they're the same as the last time.
Rating: 2, but I'm going to keep on going with the series.
