The Wheel of Time, book 12
Things happen! And they're even things that I care about! This book was mostly Egwene and Rand, and major progress happened in each of their arcs. There were a few times that I winced at what appeared to be a Sanderson additions, but for the most part, the transition was fairly seamless. As good as the early books.
