Can we state that once an author starts having his own characters reference his own works, in complete seriousness, in the story alongside the author's favourite fiction, perhaps a shark has been jumped?
I think so - serious shark-jumping going on here.
This was long, drawn out, and I'm missing some of the references along the way.
Somewhat entertaining, but with no real meat, and plenty of cringe.
