The Accidental Time Machine - Joe Haldeman

 Ace, 2008, 275 pages

Read: April 2021, age 43

Look, this was a competent book.  But it was very disappointing compared with the other Haldeman works I've read.  The time-travel was pretty much the same, but much better done, in The Forever War.

In addition, this protagonist had very little agency, which I'm coming to realize is one of the things I really don't like in books.  A protagonist should spend the book protag-ing, not just floating around having things happen to him.
