I think I'm missing out on not reading this series in order - there was a bunch of old business that kept rearing its head, and I didn't much care about it. The book also tried to moralize a bit in the middle of all the shooting, and I thought that that missed.
Otherwise, a competent action thriller, better than most that I've read over the last while, but not exactly 'good'. I was mostly happy to just be done.
