The Farseer, book 3
It took a bit of psyching myself up for this book - all these books are emotionally affecting, and I wasn't ready for it for a while - 8 months or so - after the second book. This one was more satisfying, and somewhat less negative than the first couple. It was good, and redeemed the first two to an extent.
