This was a re-read - I read it a year ago and really liked it, but thought could do with a re-read, because the setting was pretty elaborate and you were thrown right into the middle of it. And then I watched the Netflix show and wanted to do a comparison with it fresh in my mind. The book was better, and better on a re-read, but the show was all right, too. I can understand some of the changes in the adaptation, but I don't really agree with them, especially the whole-cloth addition of a sister.
